BodyTalk Access
BodyTalk Access was developed for the lay person or as a one-day introduction to the larger BodyTalk System. The five basic techniques (from Modules 1 & 2) learned in an Access class, when utilized as a group, can have a profound positive effect on basic household illnesses and injuries and even in first aid situations while emergency personnel are on their way. And when used in a weekly routine, these techniques can bolster the immune system and help maintain a balance of wellness. BodyTalk Access is proving to be a very successful set of techniques for the home or school or work settings.
MindScape
MindScape is a method that enables one to access creative and intuitive states, and tap into powerful faculties not normally so accessible to our everyday life state of mind. It confers various benefits, including encouraging creative thinking, the ability to engage intuition at will, understand oneself and others better, and enhance BodyTalk and other skills. Participants have used the techniques and benefits of MindScape very successfully in all walks of life.
MindScape was developed as a system that can be easily learnt by anyone by Dr John Veltheim in the early 90s, drawing on his extensive experience of different systems of mind dynamics. The basic technique was taught as part of the Life Management weekend workshop, and this was later developed to produce what is today the MindScape workshop. Today there is also an Advanced MindScape course, as well as specialized MindScape courses.
The method employed in MindScape draws on the fact that it is possible to tap into the powerful creative and intuitive faculties of the mind by accessing a mental state based in alpha brainwave activity. The participant is led to create a mental framework called the Workshop, which effectively serves as an interface for engaging the different intuitive faculties, just as the icons on a computer screen enable the user to engage or switch on different programs. This offers great benefits and open vast possibilities for every aspect of life or work, and is also a powerful tool for personal development. Practice produces relaxing states and stimulates a process of de-stressing of body and mind. The techniques also allow insight into one?s individual process, the workings of the subconscious, conditioning and paradigm limitations and the 1 nature of what we are capable of achieving. Most importantly, MindScape provides the practical tools for tapping into this potential.
MindScape compliments BodyTalk as it expands powerful possibilities for practitioners, even with other systems and modalities. By enhancing the practitioner?s intuition, sense of mental focus and intent, and opening more ?right brain thinking?, it paves the way for more powerful links and treatments. Furthermore, by dovetailing the skills learnt in the MindScape course, the practitioner can effectively carry out distance sessions. It also becomes easier to address a specific age of the client, dimension of activity or a component such as organ or body part right down to cellular levels or less tangible systems such as aspects and concepts. The techniques of MindScape also facilitate interaction with animals, plants and other life forms, and are hence ideal for students of Animal Talk, PlantTalk and EarthTalk or anyone working in related fields.
MindScape is taught in two full days by Certified MindScape Instructors, and includes a detailed manual. The course is both instructional and experiential, with the Instructor teaching the techniques and then leading the audience through hands-on practice. MindScape makes for a fascinating weekend workshop, and many participants attest to it as being one of the most interesting courses they have attended. It can be learnt by anyone, with no experience or pre-requisites necessary for attending the course. Topics covered in the workshop include:
- Mind functions ? the different functions of the mind and their relation to creativity and intuition
- States of mind: the states of mind open to us, how to relax the body and the mind, and learning to engage a state that is particularly conducive to creative and intuitive faculties
- Creating the MindScape Workshop: the participant is led to create their own unique conceptual framework, which then serves as a powerful interface for the mind?s intuitive abilities as well as a tool for personal development
- The Guides: discovering and interacting with the male and female archetypes unique to each participant, another very powerful self growth tool
- The Screen of the Mind: a technique for mobilizing the powerful subconscious mind towards manifesting affirmations and goals
- Creativity: using the MindScape method to encourage creativity and innovative thought, useful for art, problem-solving and so on
- Sports and physical training: an introduction to using mental techniques to sharpen sports performance and enhance physical training
- Healing: a way to help healing using the MindScape method
- Tuning in to Animals: through the MindScape Workshop, participants learn to tune in to animals in an intuitive and experiential way
- Tuning in to persons: by learning to do the same with people, one can immensely enhance his/her understanding of others, improve interactive relationships and healing procedures
- The Mental Scanning: A practical demonstration where the participant learns to intuitively tune in to any person at different perceptual levels. This technique employed by medical intuitives is immensely useful for BodyTalk practitioners, therapists, and so on. The Scanning is surprisingly easy to learn, with all participants being given the opportunity to practice the technique.
BodyTalk Fundamentals (part 1)
Part 1 provides a comprehensive introduction to the BodyTalk System and presents many powerful treatment techniques that address a wide variety of diseases. This course consists of theoretical aspects as well as hands on practical application of the first part of BodyTalk treatment techniques. The elements of the BodyTalk protocol addressed in this course are as follows:
- General treatments, including overall breathing patterns, left/right brain and body co-ordination, energy blockages associated with birthplace or imbalances with the local environment, energy faults within the main brain cortexes, general and localized hydration, and health problems associated with internal and external scarring.
- Specific balancing of the 12 major body organs, eight endocrine systems and other non-specific body parts.
- Clearing the body of viruses, infections, parasites, food intolerances, environmental allergies and accumulated toxins.

This course counts for 16 hours of continuing education for Certified BodyTalk Practitioners' requirements.
BodyTalk Fundamentals (part 2)
This course builds on the knowledge gained in part 1 and expands the treatment techniques to include the entire basic BodyTalk system. Once again, both the theory and the practical aspects of the BodyTalk treatment techniques are covered. The elements of the BodyTalk protocol addressed in this course are as follows:
Extrinsic Reciprocals, Lymphatic System, Nervous/Circulatory Systems, Energy Systems (Meridians, Blood Sugar, Chakras), Environmental Systems.
- Treating the 36 surface energy points that often impact a person's energy level, mood, overall structural integrity, muscle tension, and digestive system. Surface energy imbalances can also cause pain in specific parts of the body.
- Cleansing the lymphatic system including all the body lymph glands and the lymph ducts.
- Treating energy blockages associated with the nervous and circulatory systems.
- Balancing the various energy systems within the body including the traditional acupuncture meridians and the Chakras.
- Restoring energy imbalances between the client and certain aspects of the environment.
- Specific balancing of brain function and improvement of the circulation of nerves and blood to, or within, specific areas of the body.
- Correction of hereditary and/or environmentally influenced cell disorders. Repairing damage from vaccines.
- BodyTalk Module 1 is a pre-requisite for this course and this course is a pre-requisite for any of the advanced BodyTalk modules.
- Module 1 & 2 are often combined into a complete evening plus four days intensive so that the practitioner can learn the complete basic BodyTalk System in one session and start using the modality immediately.
This course counts for 16 hours of continuing education for Certified BodyTalk Practitioners' requirements.
BodyTalk Fundamentals Integration
This course is conducted by IBA instructors to help BodyTalk practitioners refine their skills in the practical aspects of BodyTalk.
The instructor also reviews the key elements of BodyTalk Fundamentals and expands on some of the subjects that couldn´t be addressed in the actual Modules because of time constraints. The class also gives practitioners a chance to clear up any issues they may have with BodyTalk based on the fact that they have had an opportunity to practice the BodyTalk System and become comfortable with the basics. Depending upon the flow of the class and the number of questions that come up, many instructors will often use this opportunity to introduce some of the principles of the advanced BodyTalk procedure, giving students some familiarity before taking an advanced Module. If you are sincerely interested in developing and refining your skills in the BodyTalk System, this is a very important course to take.
This course counts for 16 hours of continuing education for Certified BodyTalk Practitioners' requirements.
BodyTalk "Principles of Consciousness" (Module 3)
This course is the most essential of the advanced courseson BodyTalk. The consciousness work in this course underlies the foundation of the philosophy behind the BodyTalk System and explains how to apply it in a practical way. The elements of the BodyTalk protocol addressed in this course are as follows:
- Links: A detailed review of the linking system of BodyTalk.
- Definitions: A study of the theory and practical application of 'Defining the Links.'
- Five senses: Balancing the physical and subtle 5 senses within the BodyTalk System.
- Basic Consciousness: The basic approach to consciousness work within the BodyTalk protocol. This enables the BodyTalk Practitioner to address the beliefs, attitudes, and states of awareness of the client in a simple, non-invasive way under the direction the client's own innate wisdom. It integrates with every aspect of the BodyTalk protocol supplying definitions of links that will greatly enhance healing
at all levels. - Advanced consciousness: This includes the philosophy and understanding of such concepts as Space/time; Guilt; Separation: Individuation; the True nature: the 'essential' nature; masks; and habitual thinking patterns, as they relate to the unfolding personal and spiritual growth of the client and practitioner. Practical use of this knowledge enables the practitioner to balance the right/left brain
complex and assist the client towards recognition of their natural state of inner peace and harmony.

FreeFall 1
The PaRama Life Sciences; BreakThrough, FreeFall and Mindscape,
Supports individuals - pursuit of their human potential development.
FreeFall theory has evolved from the rich traditions and developments of psychotherapy, bioenergetics, and eastern tradition. Dr. John Veltheim expanded the principles to create an empowering and transformative workshop where the participant can experience, recognize and resolve body centered issues.
FreeFall participants explore SELF by stripping off the mask of coping.
The "Coping Mask" is a matrix of fears, judgments, beliefs and behaviors
that restrict an individual from embracing and loving life.
Naked beneath Our Clothes article written by Dr. John Veltheim, exposes the conditioning, experiences, and environmental influences that contribute to the distorted view of an individual's sexuality/sensuality.
Being Naked Beneath our Clothes is an attitude of self acceptance so that life can move beyond the restrictions. The resulting opening of the heart and trust in ones own essence supports therapeutic integration and personal evolution.
- FreeFall is explored in a safe, confidential environment free of anything sexual in nature.
- Eligibility is limited to applicants having demonstrated an active professional commitment by being a Certified BodyTalk Practitioner or have completed BreakThrough I.
- Applicants are reviewed by PaRama Life Science Admissions to determine eligibility; additional information may be requested.
- Registration for FreeFall I - with a Certified FreeFall Instructor, can be found on the training schedule at IBA.
This course counts for 16 hours of continuing education for Certified BodyTalk Practitioners' requirements.
FreeFall 2
FreeFall 1 is designed to free us from the “image” we have of ourselves and expose the “naked truth” of our humanness. FreeFall 2 further pushes the exploration of healthy human intimacy.
FreeFall 2 is an in-depth course challenging us to address the coping mechanisms which support our conditioning and distort our body’s unique expression! FF2 works by bridging this chasm and offering the body a unifying and expressive experience.
In this course, we explore the nature of specific areas of the brain and hormonal expression, challenge the belief systems around sexuality, sensuality and control, and strengthen the conscious connection to your most intimate relationship…Self.
FreeFall 1 is a pre-requisite for FreeFall 2. This course is by application only.
BodyTalk Session Intensive (One Day / Two Days)
